Our work sustains this society.
Our care holds it together.
Our bodies pay the price.
We care for others, organize, provide, work—often invisibly, often unpaid, often overworked. We earn less, face higher risks of poverty, experience violence and political disregard. That is the structure.
But there are many of us. And we are not powerless. Empowerment means listening to each other, sharing knowledge, acting in solidarity. Not letting ourselves be pitted against each other. Supporting each other – in everyday life and in protest. That is why we are striking.
We are participating in the Germany-wide women’s strike. As a sit-in strike: we are sitting down – against excessive demands, against business as usual, for self-determination.
