Even in 2026, women* around the world still need “folding chairs” to get a seat at the table in politics, science, medicine, art, culture, media, church, or business. We’ve had enough of this!
On March 9, starting at 2:30 p.m., right after the PEACE campaign STAND UP FOR PEACE starting at 2 p.m., we will therefore come with folding chairs and cookies/fruit … in front of Offenburg City Hall – and sit down together between City Hall and Raben.
We will take our seats and say “ENOUGH!”
to a system that systematically disadvantages women*,
undervalues their unpaid care work, and devalues their achievements.
For us, “ENOUGH!” also means sharing with each other instead of exploiting each other.
We women* know how to live together harmoniously.
We share because we have enough to give.
We talk to each other because we have enough to say.
We get creative because we have enough ideas.
We see each other because there are MANY of us who have had “ENOUGH!”
