About us
We have set up a platform specifically for the WOMEN’S GENERAL STRIKE on March 9, 2026. We say ENOUGH! to a system that (once again) increasingly relies on exploitation, oppression, and destruction—under which women* and children worldwide suffer first and foremost. We want a different world. And we know it is possible. We build on the greatest shared diversity and address the global dimension of all these questions. Every person, every regional group, every organization can articulate their own ENOUGH!, their specific ENOUGH.
There is no manifesto, no list of demands, no fixed agenda—and therefore no limitation.
What is our goal?
We have begun reaching out — and continue to do so — to explore what powerful, visible, and unmistakable responses might look like. We want to make THE LARGEST, MOST DIVERSE, AND RESONANT ACTION by women* visible for all to see.
How we intend to achieve it
The GLOBAL WOMEN* GENERAL STRIKE is our greatest challenge — and our most powerful answer. We believe in collective power. By organizing, disrupting, and standing in solidarity, we reclaim our right to safety, dignity, autonomy, and justice — everywhere.
We have become many
ENOUGH! is a growing platform with currently more than 1,000 women* and several dozen men*, over 65 regional groups across the globe, and more than 70 organizations as multiplicators — each saying ENOUGH! in their own way.
Why it matters
For far too long, we have endured far too much. What we are witnessing is a general assault on mind, psyche, body, and dignity—driven by blatant abuses of power by heads of state whose discourse is marked by coercion, contempt, brutality, and devaluation.
ENOUGH! YETER!
And as always, when systems turn autocratic, this is accompanied by escalating threats, violence, exploitation, and impoverishment of women*. We are living through a spiral of violence that has become unbearable.
How can it be that so-called “peace” talks are conducted between bombardments—exclusively by men—whose seriousness is highly questionable?
How can it be that women and children are the mass victims of warfare, yet are unable to represent themselves and their children at the negotiating table?
How can it be that women do not hold 50 percent of the voices when it comes to defending international law, human rights, and the right to asylum?
How can it be that artistic and academic freedom is being massively curtailed, the climate catastrophe denied, fossil industries upheld against all reason, and both people and nature ruthlessly exploited?
This diagnosis has a gender.
Discover Your regional group
Regional groups are local collectives within the ENOUGH! movement that organize actions and outreach in their own communities. They focus on issues most relevant to their local context while staying grounded in ENOUGH!’s shared values. Find your regional group within the existing ones. Or simply start your own.
