We–the team of BIG – Berlin initiative against violence against women–have had ENOUGH!
Beyond international women’s day we stand in solidarity with women all over the world.
We are protesting a societal backlash: In today’s global political climate hard-won women’s rights are under attack everywhere.
We–the team of BIG e.V.– are having a staff outing on the 9th of march. Because our absence sends a message.
On this day, we are not in business, not reachable, not available.
We will not be working for a system that manages violence, inequality and overload instead of ending it.
Together, we will go outside.
We will take time.
We will care for ourselves instead of the system.
We will make visible how much energy, time and life are withdrawn from the system when women and non-binary people take a collective break.
Bring some snacks, maybe some rage in a thermal mug – and your best “ENOUGH”-mood.
