FLINTA strike at taz
Following the feminist day of action on 8 March, various initiatives are calling on FLINTAs to down tools on Monday, 9 March. Men are to take over both paid work and care work next Monday. The collective refusal is intended to draw attention to the inequalities that still exist in pay, rights and many other aspects.
We invite all FLINTAs who wish to follow this call to spend the day with us in the taz canteen.
There will be an open plenary session, with older tazzlerinnen talking about previous women’s strikes. The DJ duo ‘Pinkies Up’ will provide a lively atmosphere. Our trusted canteen will take care of the catering.
And last but not least: you can have the illustration shown here printed on a T-shirt using a screen printing machine – just bring a light-coloured T-shirt and show your solidarity to the world!
