“my ten favorite ways to undress” by Beatrice Fleischlin / Jimmy
With ‘my ten favourite ways to undress’, Beatrice / Jimmy presents their current hit list of undressing* and talks about their experiences with chronic illness and ageing. In doing so, they perform an act of vulnerability and radical self-determination.
The performance is both a rebellious self-portrait and a moment of pleasure shared with the audience.
*The first version toured from 2009 to 2012. For the current version, Beatrice / Jimmy has further developed the hit list and adapted it to changed life circumstances.

Beatrice Fleischlin / Jimmy is a performer and theatre director. Their works explore forms of existence that resist clear categorization – in-between spaces, queer concepts of identity and the blending of biographical material and fiction. Beatrice / Jimmy lives with their partner and their child in Pankow.
