WORKSHOP bystander intervention
watch – decide – act
Practice bystander intervention instead of just talking about it!
In this three hour workshop we want to take a look at our behavioral patterns and search for new ways to act. We will exchange ideas end explore the questions: Where do we experience civil courage or bystander intervention in everyday life? Where and when do we wish we had more courage? How can I act when someone is in need and what are my limits?
Using ‚Theatre of the Oppressed’ methods developed by the Brazilian theatre practitioner Augusto Boal, we invite you to not only learn about civil courage and bystander intervention but to also practice it.
In this workshop the theatre space becomes a rehearsal for reality.
