Preparations for March 8th and 9th
Art in public spaces connects women and society
To mark International Women’s Day on March 8, 2026, the Miteinander in der Mainspitze initiative is hosting a creative public event at the Evangelische Gemeindehaus.
The working meetings to prepare the textile art object will take place on February 13 and 27 at the Bischofsheim Library, from 3 to 6 p.m. each day. No previous knowledge of knitting or crocheting is required—instructions and materials will be provided on site. Accompanying texts will be read to encourage reflection on the realities of women’s lives.
