if this message were to mark the beginning of a global spectacle.
We serve: a generous portion of megalomania as hors d’oeuvre,
feminist delicacies as the main course, seasoned with many flavors
and rounded off with an unforgettable oeuvre of female voices heard
and read, who confront the madness of the world
with a loud BASTA! ENOUGH!
It’s time to join forces.
It’s time to forge alliances.
It’s time for the
G L O B A L W O M E N’ S G E N E R A L S T R I K E.
Worldwide, around 49.7% of people are considered “female” –
approximately 4.05 billion women and girls.
And each one carries her own:
BASTA! ENOUGH! ABASTANZA! AVOU! SAPATI! AMUL! PAPA! THOK! ASSEZ!
To implement the first
GLOBAL WOMEN’S GENERAL STRIKE on March 9, 2026,
we need visionary, fearless feminist allies
who encourage women worldwide to raise their voices –
diverse, creative, powerful.
Iceland has shown how effective a women’s strike can be.
If we succeed in mobilizing even a fraction of the 4.05 billion women and girls,
we can bring about real change.

This global women’s strike needs many things to become a reality:
an anthem (who better to create it than you?),
visibility, stages, shows, social media fame, celebrity status,
and perhaps the support of one or two feminist heiresses.
Let’s women* raise our voices together.
Let’s women* make history together.
