DESCRIPTION:Global women’s strike on 9 March – come in droves!\nThe Global Women’s Strike is organised and supported by various groups and organisations worldwide. The ‘Enough!’ initiative plans for women to stop all work\, both paid and unpaid\, and to protest on this day. Each woman can decide for herself whether to take the whole day off\, a few hours\, or simply not do what she usually does. Others can take over on 9 March. Together\, we will stand up against systemic devaluation\, unpaid care work\, the gender pay gap\, sexual and domestic violence\, femicide\, war and homophobia. \nWe stand up for gender equality\, economic self-determination\, and sexual and reproductive rights; active and passive voting rights; equal participation in politics; access to education; and a dignified\, self-determined life for all women.\nOur thoughts are with those deprived of their freedom and self-determination in countries such as Iran\, Afghanistan and Sudan. \nThe Feminism Working Group of the Marburg Network for Democracy and Against Right-Wing Extremism invites you to join them at Rotkehlchen at 11 a.m. under the motto ‘We are half’. We will celebrate together and enjoy breakfast and brunch from the open buffet. While there\, we will paint posters with slogans explaining the reasons for the strike and the day off.\nAfterwards\, at around 2 p.m.\, we will walk into the city together.\nFrom 6 p.m.\, there will be an opportunity to dance to music played by a DJ at Rotkehlchen.\nThis special day will end at around 9 p.m. \n\n\n	Related
