Ute Reisner provides insights into the creative process behind her musical radio play\, which is based on interviews with contemporary witnesses about lesbian* herstory in Baden-Württemberg from the 1950s to the 1980s. It is being developed as part of the research project “Between invisibility\, repression\, and lesbian emancipation. Women who love women in southwestern Germany from 1945 to the 1980s.”

DESCRIPTION:watch – decide – act\nPractice bystander intervention instead of just talking about it! \nIn this three hour workshop we want to take a look at our behavioral patterns and search for new ways to act. We will exchange ideas end explore the questions: Where do we experience civil courage or bystander intervention in everyday life? Where and when do we wish we had more courage? How can I act when someone is in need and what are my limits? \nUsing ‚Theatre of the Oppressed’ methods developed by the Brazilian theatre practitioner Augusto Boal\, we invite you to not only learn about civil courage and bystander intervention but to also practice it.\nIn this workshop the theatre space becomes a rehearsal for reality.
