With this collective action\, women made the invisible visible and demonstrated just how indispensable they are to the functioning of society as a whole. \nFifty years after this historic day\, director Pamela Hogan and contemporary witness Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir bring the voices of many of these courageous women back into the spotlight.
